Another weekend to write down in the books, and it was a busy one for me. I jumped in 5 rigs in 5 days, hit 5 rodeos, and crossed Saskatchewan 3 times. It was awesome cause all I had to drive was to Maple Creek the first day. I feel like Doug Wilkinson ha.

Well another week passed and it was a pretty good week for me and the calves.

I finally had a chance to run some practice calves this week and it helped out quite a bit. I roped at home two times and ran two calves each time. It gave me a chance to give Zippy a couple runs away from the rodeo scene and he worked outstanding this week.

Hello everyone. I just finished up at Ponoka for the short go. I'd have to say my Ponoka was a pretty good rodeo. I didn't do any good on my first calf but I came back and was 8.2 on my second calf to split 5/6/7th in the second round. In the team roping I placed 4th in the fist go and came back 2nd to the short round. Chad and I were 5.5 in the short round and place 4th for the short round fast time. We ended up winning the average. Then when I came back to tonight for the final show down I went and messed up and punched the horn trying to dally and had to kick my horse back up and chad had to clean up my mess. I wasn't about to let go of my rope, cause you have to get a time to make any money. We won 3rd. Over my Ponoka I believe I pocketed about $5000 in the team roping and about $1200 in the calves. I wish I could do that every week.

Hello everyone, sorry I didn't write sooner. This past weekend was a busy as I started it off tuesday in Ponoka for a team roping that Dustin Round puts on. It's always a good roping, thanks to the Round family for that. After the roping I made my way to Wainwright for the slack in the morning.Everyone in the timed events ran their first animals there on Wednesday, then they came back throughout the week for their second animal. I roped calves Thursday morning and headed to High River for the slack that night, then back to Wainwright for Saturday afternoon to team rope. Then I headed to Sundre for a muddy run on Sunday.

My week was fairly slow. I felt like I roped pretty good. I broke the barrier at High River in the team roping but I made a pretty good run in the calves and ended up splitting 2nd. That helps push me back into the mix in the calves. My hat goes off to Shane Hanchey who has been roping outstanding. He has placed 1st or 2nd just about everywhere on just about every calf he has run in Canada. He has been awesome to watch.

I get a few days off and then start in my week in Ponoka. It might be a little hard to get over to willy lake with the mud slides but we will watch the weather and the roads.

Hello to everyone. I am excited for all of you to be following me throughout the 2012 rodeo season.

Today I was up in Medicine Hat in the final performance, which is always a great time to be up. It's nice to know exactly how fast you have to be to win good money. This year I will be working really hard in both calf roping and team roping. Today was a pretty good day. I didn't end up getting anything done in the team roping but I was able to put it together and WIN the calf roping.
