A legendary force in Canadian country rock, The C-Weed Band has been going strong for nearly five decades, blending heartfelt storytelling with the spirit of Indigenous pride. Led by Errol “C-Weed” Ranville, the band has released over 20 albums, earned JUNO nominations, and captured hearts across the country with hits like Evangeline, Magic in the Music, and Run As One.

Their last album, “Last Ride” (2018), marked a reflective chapter in their journey. Now, the band is back with a powerful new release:
“Spirit Rising” – featuring the uplifting first single “Love of the Game”.

Errol’s story is one of resilience and inspiration. His memoir, “Run as One: My Story”, published by Great Plains Press in 2021, chronicles his rise from rural Manitoba to national acclaim, overcoming poverty, racism, and personal tragedy to become a trailblazer in Indigenous music.

Currently, Errol is touring his album “Forever” with a dynamic six-piece band, bringing his signature sound to Aboriginal communities across Canada. The tour features both classic C-Weed hits and fresh new tracks, with a lineup that includes longtime collaborators and rising talents.
