General Information

When is CFR 2026?

CFR 2026 will take place over five performances live at Rogers Place in Edmonton from October 7-10, 2026.

Where is CFR held?

Rodeo performances take place live at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta. The Canadian Country Expo takes place at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

What will the schedule of performances look like?

CFR features four evening performances from Wednesday through Saturday, plus a Saturday matinee performance. The Championship Round takes place Saturday evening. Learn more by looking at the performance guide.

Are there any Free activities at CFR?

Yes! Enjoy free events throughout CFR Week, including the CFR After Party, Tailgate Party, Pancake Breakfast, and more community celebrations around Edmonton. See the full schedule here.

What should I wear to CFR?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable. Many guests choose Western attire such as jeans, boots, and hats, but there is no dress code for rodeo performances. Learn about our fashion themes here.

Tickets & Seating

Which sections overlook the bucking chutes?

Sections 126, 127, 129, and 130 provide views of the bucking chutes.

Which sections overlook the timed events?

Sections 107, 109, 110, 112, 113, and 115 overlook the timed event side of the arena.

Is wheelchair accessible seating available?

Sections 102, 103, 105, 117, 119, 120, 124 and 132 have wheelchair accessible seating available.

What is the Canadian Country Expo?

The Canadian Country Expo is the official tradeshow and lifestyle event of the Canadian Finals Rodeo, featuring shopping, western events, entertainment, agriculture, equine experiences, art, food, and more. See What's On a CCE here.

Is there a tradeshow at CFR this year?

Yes! The Canadian Country Expo is the official tradeshow of the Canadian Finals Rodeo and takes place at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Visitors can enjoy shopping, western events, stage entertainment, art shows, equine experiences, vendors, food, and more. Learn more on the Canadian Country Expo page.

Parking & Transportation

What parking options are available for the CFR?

Parking will be available at the Edmonton EXPO Centre, where you can visit the Canadian Country Expo. Shuttles will be available to take you to and from Rogers Place. There are also many available parking options around Rogers Place. Both underground and above ground parkades, as well as some surface parking lots. The LRT also brings you right to the venue. I drive a truck that will not fit in a parkade - where can I park?

There are very limited ground-level parking lots available at the Arena, but you can park at the Edmonton EXPO Center - 7515 118 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB - and take the FREE shuttle!

Can I take the LRT to CFR?

Yes, you can, to go to Rogers Place get off at the McEwan LRT stop. For LRT and Transit information, go here.

Can I take the LRT to Canadian Country EXPO?

Yes, you can, to go to the Edmonton EXPO Center get off at the Coliseum LRT stop. For LRT and Transit information, go here.

How do I get from the Canadian Country Expo to Rogers Place?

Complimentary shuttle service is available between the Edmonton EXPO Centre and Rogers Place throughout CFR Week. Learn more here.

Rogers Place Policies

Can I bring in food or beverages to the CFR performances?

No, you cannot; for a full list of prohibited items, review this list: Rogers Arena Guide

Will I need to go through security to get into the arena?

Yes, walk - through security screening, bag checks, and secondary screening are all part of our security protocols to keep everyone safe.

I carry a knife, can I bring it into the Arena?

No, Knives are considered weapons and are on our prohibited items list. Please leave them at home, at your hotel or in your vehicle. For a full list of prohibited items - please review this list

Can I bring in a backpack or suitcase to CFR?

Backpacks, suitcases, and other bags larger than 12" x 12" x 6" are not permitted inside Rogers Place. Small bags and purses within the size limit are allowed and subject to inspection.

Can I bring a purse into CFR?

Yes, purses and bags no larger than 12 x 12 x 6 are permitted but are subjected to inspection before entry.
