What Is Edmonton Goes Western?
Edmonton Goes Western is a citywide initiative designed to bring the excitement of the Canadian Finals Rodeo beyond the arena and into every corner of the city.
From corporate offices and retail storefronts to restaurants and local businesses, participants are encouraged to embrace western culture through creative décor, western attire, themed activities, and social media participation.
By joining the program, you're helping create an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors while showcasing Edmonton's western heritage.

How to Participate
Between October 5–11, 2026, businesses are encouraged to:
Dress western and encourage staff participation
Follow the daily CFR fashion themes
Decorate offices and workplaces with Western flair
Create western-themed window displays
Share photos and videos on social media
Tag the Canadian Finals Rodeo and use the official campaign hashtags
