Which CFR performance should I attend?

Each performance includes the same championship rodeo competition but offers a unique atmosphere and theme.

  • Heritage Night (Wednesday): Best for first-time attendees and those wanting a traditional rodeo experience.

  • Retro Night (Thursday): A fun midweek performance with throwback western vibes.

  • Canadian Night (Friday): One of the most popular performances featuring a lively weekend atmosphere.

  • Family Day (Saturday Matinee): Designed for guests of all ages with a daytime start time.

  • Championship Night (Saturday Evening): The final performance where Canadian champions are crowned.

Is the same rodeo action included in every performance?

Yes. All five performances feature the same eight championship rodeo events and the season's top competitors.

Is Family Day the best performance for families?

Yes. Family Day offers a daytime schedule, family-friendly atmosphere, and the same championship rodeo action found at every CFR performance.

What makes Championship Night different?

Championship Night is the final performance of the week. It is the last opportunity for competitors to earn points and prize money before Canadian champions are determined.

How long is a CFR performance?

Most performances run approximately 2.5 hours.

What are the benefits of becoming a 5-Pack Member?

Does a 5-Pack include the same seat for every performance?

Yes. Your seat remains the same for all five performances.

Can I choose my seat with a 5-Pack?

Yes. Available seating options can be selected at the time of purchase.

Can I buy tickets for just Championship Night?

Yes. Individual tickets are available for all CFR performances, including Championship Night.

Are group tickets available?

Yes. Groups of 20 or more qualify for group pricing and special booking options.

Are there additional fees when purchasing tickets?

Tickets may be subject to Ticketmaster service charges, facility fees, and processing fees.

What happens if a performance sells out?

Once a performance sells out, tickets may no longer be available through official sales channels. Purchasing early is recommended.

Seating Information

Which sections overlook the bucking chutes?

Sections 126, 127, 129, and 130 provide views of the bucking chutes.

Which sections overlook the timed events?

Sections 107, 109, 110, 112, 113, and 115 overlook the timed event side of the arena.

Which seats offer the best overall view?

Centre sections on either side of the arena typically provide the most balanced view of all rodeo events.

Which seats are best for families?

Centre lower-bowl sections offer excellent sightlines while keeping families close to the action.

Is accessible seating available?

Yes. Accessible seating is available throughout Rogers Place.

Where is accessible seating located?

Accessible seating is available in Sections 102, 103, 105, 117, 119, 120, 124, and 132.

What's Included With My Ticket?

What is included with my CFR ticket?

Every ticket includes admission to a full Canadian Finals Rodeo performance featuring championship rodeo competition, entertainment, and fan experiences.

Does my ticket include all rodeo events?

Yes. Every performance includes all eight championship rodeo events.

Does my ticket include entertainment and special features?

Yes. In addition to rodeo competition, guests can enjoy entertainment, opening ceremonies, theme nights, and other in-arena experiences.

Are after-parties included with my ticket?

No. After-parties and specialty events may require separate admission.

Does my ticket include admission to the Canadian Country Expo?

CCE is free to attend. Some events may be ticketed.

Ticketing & Account Help

How do I access my digital tickets?

Tickets can be accessed through your Ticketmaster account or Account Manager.

Can I transfer tickets to someone else?

Yes. Eligible tickets can be transferred digitally through Ticketmaster.

What if I can't find my tickets?

Log in to your Ticketmaster account or Account Manager to access your tickets. If you require additional assistance, contact Ticketmaster Guest Services.

Can I resell my tickets?

Eligible tickets may be resold through Ticketmaster's approved resale platform.

How do promo codes work?

Promo codes are entered during the ticket purchasing process, you click unlock prior to slecting seats.

My promo code isn't working. What should I do?

Confirm that:

  • You clicked unlock and eneterd the code prior to selecting seats.

  • The code has been entered correctly.

  • The code has not expired.

  • The code applies to the ticket type selected.

If issues persist, contact the ticketing team.

How do I access Account Manager?

Visit the Account Manager page using the link provided in the Tickets menu.

Should I buy CFR tickets from a reseller or third-party website?

To ensure your tickets are valid, purchase only through the official CFR website, Ticketmaster, or approved CFR ticketing partners. Tickets purchased through unauthorized sellers may be invalid, duplicated, or ineligible for customer support.

Before You Arrive

What time should I arrive?

Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled performance start time.

What should I wear?

Western wear is encouraged but never required. Many guests also participate in the nightly fashion themes.

Is there a dress code?

No. There is no mandatory dress code for CFR performances.

Should I participate in the theme nights?

Theme nights are completely optional but are a fun way to participate in the CFR experience.

Where should I park?

Rogers Place is surrounded by numerous downtown parking lots and parkades within walking distance.

Is there a shuttle to Rogers Place?

Shuttle information will be available closer to the event through the Plan Your Visit section of the website. There will be one from Edmonton Expo Centre.
