Canadian-based, global floral phenomenon Fleurs de Villes returns to Edmonton this fall, making its debut at the iconic Muttart Conservatory with Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE, a spectacular 10-day fresh floral celebration of Edmonton’s vibrant arts and cultural scene, brought to life by the talented local floral designers.
From September 26 to October 5, 2025, the stunning exhibition will transform the Muttart Conservatory pyramids into an immersive artistic experience, featuring a curated collection of one-of-a-kind fresh floral mannequins, each inspired by Edmonton’s leading arts and cultural institutions, including galleries, symphony, theatre and visual arts.
“Fleurs de Villes celebrates art, history and culture through immersive fresh floral story-telling, celebrating top local florists,” said Karen Marshall, Co-Founder of Fleurs de Villes. “With Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE we are thrilled to celebrate the rich, cultural arts scene in Edmonton in the historic Muttart Conservatory for an experience like none other. This will be THE floral event of the year.”
This incredible showcase of floral artistry takes visitors on a journey of discovery, featuring mannequins inspired by upcoming performances from the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Citadel Theatre, Shumka, and the Edmonton Chamber Music Society, as well as the striking architecture of TELUS World of Science Edmonton and the Muttart Conservatory, the stunning gardens of the UofA Botanic Garden, the current exhibition of the Art Gallery of Alberta, and an Indigenous-inspired mannequin, with a design concept created especially for this show by an artist from I.A.M. Collective.
The exhibition will offer unique experiences and the facility will have extended hours throughout the 10 days in order to accommodate demand. A launch event on Friday evening, September 26, will welcome guests to an exclusive reception at the Muttart Conservatory, with a limited number of tickets available to the public. On Sunday, September 28, a special after hours at Muttart event, 18+, will be hosted, which offers a unique and intimate way to explore the artistry of Fleurs de Villes. Enjoy canapes, cocktails, music, and the opportunity to see the pyramids in a whole new light.
During the run of the show, visitors are encouraged to vote for their favourite floral mannequin for a chance to win a two-night stay in a beautiful Deluxe King View room at Fairmont Hotel Macdonald and the Ultimate Edmonton Arts Package, valued at more than $4,600.
In addition to the mannequins at the Muttart Conservatory, stunning off-site installations will also be featured in the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald lobby and at the Canadian Country Expo located at the Edmonton EXPO Centre during Canadian Finals Rodeo Week. Inside the Muttart Conservatory, Café Bloom will offer a specially curated floral-inspired menu throughout the show, extending the floral artistry into a unique culinary experience.
Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE in Edmonton is presented by the City of Edmonton with support from Fairmont Hotel Macdonald, Cafe Bloom, Canadian Finals Rodeo, and floral wholesale partner Florist’s Supply. “We are so excited to be working with Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE to bring this exquisite show to the Muttart Conservatory for the first time,” said Rhonda Norman, Director, Muttart Conservatory. “It is the perfect venue to host such an event where we can celebrate Edmonton’s rich arts and culture in an already spectacular setting amongst our four botanical pyramids. We expect to be very busy and so we have extended our hours in order to accommodate demand and we will be hosting exclusive events throughout the show. It is a must see show for everyone!”
