Tickets now on sale for 2024 Canadian Finals Rodeo powered by ATB

Explore Edmonton announces that tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Canadian Finals Rodeo.

EDMONTON – Amidst the heat of hockey frenzy in the capital region, Explore Edmonton announces that tickets are now on sale for the 2024 Canadian Finals Rodeo.

Canada’s best rodeo athletes will take over Rogers Place from Oct. 2-5, 2024, as the CFR makes its triumphant return to its birthplace. The CFR first took place in Edmonton in 1974 and was in Alberta’s capital city until 2017.

Ticket sales started last month with longtime ‘5-Pack’ ticketholders given access to select their favourite seats. For many of them, they’ve been sitting in the same seats or section for several years. Today, all ticket packs and single-day tickets go on sale to the general public. Rodeo fans are encouraged to buy their tickets early as seats are expected to go quickly over the summer.

Ticket prices range from just under $55 to $130 for single performances. All prices and packages are on the CFR website: cfr.ca

Explore Edmonton is thrilled to also announce that attendees from Wednesday, Thursday and Friday’s performances will have a chance at qualifying to win a 2024 RAM 1500 Truck!  You can take your shot at being a finalist by qualifying early, click here to enter.

“Explore Edmonton is thrilled to have the CFR return to Edmonton to celebrate its 50th anniversary,” said Amanda Frigon, director of the CFR with Explore Edmonton. “The city will no doubt be buzzing with excitement for the whole week, and we are excited to share more information on programming closer to the event. We have already heard from our loyal fans how excited they are, and we encourage you to get your ‘5-Pack’ tickets while they are still available.”

As a world-class event, CFR typically draws upwards of 40,000 spectators over the four days and around 64 per cent of those attending will be here from out of town. It’s estimated that CFR will bring in a total economic impact of $30.4 million.

ATB Financial has joined as the presenting sponsor of this year’s CFR, an organization that has long been a proud supporter of rodeo in Alberta.

Explore Edmonton along with Oilers Entertainment Group, City of Edmonton, Government of Alberta, Edmonton Destination Marketing Hotels have worked with the Canadian Pro Rodeo Association to bring the CFR back to Edmonton for 2024, 2025 and 2026.
